There were a number of FMA legends in NYC in the 1970's that could back up the stories, but some are either dead or hard to contact these days. Is this the Same Leo Gaje, who had to leave the country a while ago, and his local people had to disassociate from them, for business reasons? (* Documented on Escrima Digest *) Is this the same Leo Gaje who also claimed to be the Grand Master of Modern Arnis in the Mid 70's in a Black Belt publication, and when Remy RPesas showed up to Black Belt, and showed them his Book and his picture on the cover, then Black Belt Printed a new article about Remy Presas and a retraction of the previous article?

Now, this is no way an attack on The Leo Gaje's Skills.

I agree that Modern Arnis also has its' Paper Tigers, but there were people who left and created their own arts, or wanted to create separate organizations within the OLD IMAF under Remy Presas, which were restricted to being of a certain race. No proof on the last, only conversations, nothing written.

Yet, I know a lot of arts have people who try to take advantage of a situation, this not justify what Blue Collar saw, nor does it justify what I saw and heard either, other than Remy Presas was a human being who did make mistakes, when it came to money and sometimes women.
