    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    BBC Bullshido: Mind Body and kick ass moves

    There is this series on BBC.... Completely dedicated to bullshido: it's called "Mind Body and kick ass moves"
    Here's a torrent for one of the episodes... 153 megs:
    http://trackerwww.prq.to/download.ph...03.avi.torrent
    (if you need a bittorrent client go to azureus.sourceforge.net)

    features:
    * Using Chi and supernatural fighting techniques to daze and confuse your enemy
    * Invoking Gods for self protection against broken glass, butcher knifes and spears
    * Chi powered super punch
    * Amulets burried in the skin for magical protection from machete strikes
    * pressure point striles

    There is some good okinawan karate in the middle of the bullshido... The poor sensei doesn't speak a shred of english so he can't understand the stupid commentary the host gives.

    But as the brits would say: Rubbish.

    I hated the series. I hated the presenter. I hated his piss poor parlour tricks. I really hated his fucking goatee.

    And sadly, I know far too many people who thought it was great.

    Yeh, that series had some really stupid MA masters -half the time the presenter almost seemed a nice bloke, then he'd go and ruin it all licking up to some Iron Penis master (yep, they had that guy who did Iron Penis training and allegedly pulled lories with his todger - and he painted caligraphy standing on a tray of eggs to prove that his Chi Gong made him lighter -why not stand on scales?).

    The best (or worst) one was some Japanese Kiai master who showed his kiai knockout -his student ran at him with a samurai sword and fell over 'dazed' when he kiaiied. The samurai sword shows the level of showmanship -even I would fall over and pretend it's real rather than behead the guy.... or would I.....

    Great series for MAists to laugh at the worst bullshido -crap for the public who really buy into the crap.

    Well, it is the bbc. . .who gave us benny hill, and monty python. . .

    I really shouldn't talk bad about them, they also gave us the discovery channel, reality tv, and own about 70% of the cable channels.

    You're supposed to imagine the entire program sped-up to the Benny Hill theme.
