So...anyways, always been a bit athletic...played basketball in college at about 215 and in my mid twenties went up to about 225. I always wanted to gain more weight but really couldn't stop my stuff from doing "stuff" to gain weight or just to force feed myself a metric **** ton a day. After an injury 3 months ago, I thought it would be a great time to gain weight since I couldn't do ****.
Right now I'm pushing 260....by far the heaviest I've ever been. I still fit into a 35" waist pant for what it is worth :). Ahem...anyways, I'd like to cut down to a respectable 230-235 with about 10% BF. I don't have that big of a hard on to have a 6-pack or anything...10% sounds fairly healthy to me.
My plan is to life heavy for the next 6-8 weeks and then start going for high rep lifting and cardio. When I lift, I do fairly well with my routines and switching them up. My biggest weakness however is my diet.
I've got enough discipline to follow one, I just have never really had one. Does anyone have a good resource for a 4 or 6 or 8 week diet for losing weight/fat/get seksi like Omega?
Any suggestions and opinions would be more than welcome as well.
For what its worth, right now I'm 6'6" 256 about 18 - 20% BF. Looking to hit 230-235 I'd say and 10% BF. I don't really "look fat" right now as my frame can carry the weight so in the future I might try and put on a few more pounds just for the hell of it.
I know when I get below 225 I feel weak and if I hit 250 I start feeling a bit sluggish.
Thanks all...hopefully I get to sit on Aesopian with my smother-fu before I lost weight.

As far as meal planning, it'd behoove you to use MS excel.
Someone I trained took it upon himself to make calorie calculations on spread sheets. Worked splendidly for him. I didn't know how to use the program back then, but now that I"m using it for other stuff, I've come to appreciate how easy it'd make things.
