Have the Holidays severely disrupted your training?
I'm sure that everyone's diet has been awful the last couple of weeks but what about your training schedule?

Is it just me or has the various holiday events greatly hampered your time for training?
It's not so much the holidays so much as the fact that I got a full time job on top of my part time job currently and I haven't been to my gym in 2 weeks (by this wednesday) which really, really sucks. Diet... I won't get into the diet part.
I don't know if this applies to anyone else, but I find when I have steady schedule of going to school, then either going to work 3-11, or going home, resting for a bit, eating a snack, and then heading off to boxing, my days feel much more complete, these vacation days are great sure, I get to catch up on movies and video games I feel like watching, but they are sooo boring (in my opinion).
The good news is I haven't cheated on my diet yet, unfortunately the only exercise I've gotten is sparatic bouts with a jump rope, intermittent pushups, putting together a workout rack, and wondering how I'm going to take it out of my basement and into my gargage.
My diet has pretty much gone to ****. Been cruising around with friends home from college a lot. So much fast food/pizza...
I haven't gotten any real exercise or training in either. Wrestling around in the snow a little was just about the best I got. I'm going to force myself to go train tomorrow night, and best I can fix my diet.
30% discount on food items at Starbucks and free beverages has fucking ruined me.
Grad school **** has hampered training more than my job or the holidays, and thank G-d that will be over soon. I might start taking BJJ to celebrate.
Yeah definitely, the holidays have screwed up my training. I got mono, so I was out completely for a week, and I won't be able to train as hardcore for awhile until I'm "fully healed." Also, my diet has gotten really bad these past weeks.
Has anyone else been put out of training because of illness or whatever and what have you done to slowly get back to the level you were at?
My WC class broke up for two weeks so my training and exercise has been greatly hampered...that and im getting really pissed off with no release.
SS, I know how you feel, free sweets at Timmy's will ruin me in the long run unless I start learning how to pack my own damned lunch.
I havent trained in like 2 weeks. I just lifted the other day, and I also found out I gained a few pounds.
All this slacking will stop after the final party which is New Year's.
Once school starts again, and I stop working full time hours, and only get 3 shifts a week, and so on, my schedule will regain normalcy.
I don't want to say it, but I can't wait for this vacation to be over.
