    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Does this school seem legit

Unfortunately this is the closest Muay Thai school near me. I found them on the USMTA webiste, but alot of what's on their website rings as Bullshido. Just check out the instructor pages on the right hand side. I'm calling them tonight to see if what the deal is. The good news is alot of what they claim is verifiable.

All I have to say is Long Island sucks for Martial Arts.

Yes. They send fighters to local events.

Long Island is not as bad as you think. Good MMA schools, good BJJ schools and a some decent TMa stuff. You just got to find what matches with your goals.

Your Kung Fu is weak! The Shogun of Long Island will smite you.

I tried calling them today, I just got an answering machine. Tried looking for the school for about an hour in Mineola. So I finally got the idea to Serra's school in Huntington which is not to far from my Dad's house. I actually talked to Matt Serra and he also left a message on his (Longo) machine. But Matt had nothing but praise for Ray Longo and said Ray actually works his corner at all his fights. So long story short I may be doing Muay Thai and BJJ.

Serra's place in on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow. It's on the right side as you are heading east.

    Where are you at?

There's one on Jericho Tpk in Huntington, like a mile east from the Round Swamp Rd exit on the Northern. The one in East Meadow is run by his brother I think.
