    anaerobic training

    Basically, anything done at maximal intensity at a duration of under two minutes. Oxygen is not the limiting factor to the workout.

    Sprints (on foot, bicycle, swimming etc.) Interval training. Heavy weightlifting involving large muscle groups (ie. squats).

    Hope this helps. HIIT training is what I like to do.
