In the larger sense, I think we can all agree that going to Madden for the even keel of sports broadcasting might not have been the best move on my part, though there is a clarity and poetry in "They've gotta control the football and execute."

Madden is a good annoucer because he says what you are oftentimes thinking while watching a game and merely simplifies it.

The HBO boxing guys suck though. I saw one arguing with RJJ about how to fight a southpaw. How the **** can you argue with someone about boxing when -

1. You were never a pro boxer
2. The person you are argueing with a man who was considered one of the best pound for pound boxers ever

I'd have to agree, between rounds me and my friends basically bash everything that they say.

After a while George Foreman actually started saying that they were wrong and would correct them. I really hate Lampley and Merchant. I think both of them should just shut the hell up.
