tvebak, listen to KFC. Cynicism is VERY helpful in sniffing out bullshido. His bio page alone screams bullshido. For me, the ultimate factor would be cost of seminar. If it was even moderately priced, I'd say pass. But if it's free, well then, by all means go.

Just like most things in life, there are things that are real and practical, and then the bullshido version. It annoys me how so many MA sites and instructors seem to tack on reiki healing and teaching to their styles, in order to become "more spiritual," I guess. I have a specific gripe with this: I've been practicing reiki for the last two years, and have found it somewhat effective for healing. However, I don't charge money for it or teach it. In addition, I don't think it can be used to shoot chi bullets, make me a ninja, etc.

Hi Tvebak
I have trained with Gunter and I've also studied various styles of martial arts over the past 30 years and won many titles my instructor was Joe Tierney (who you or others may never of heard of but he's another UK master) - I can only say don't listen to the cynic's - Gunter is as well equiped with his knowledge as he is with delivering techniques some say he's a master of destruction but he's also a very nice person who practices reiki and likes to share his knowledge - you don't have to look tough to be effectively tough as I'm sure you already know ! I hope this helps -
