What about fight night at gussies?? I hear that's a pretty good riot! I'll probably be hitting one of these up when i come home from afghanistan, so look out!! lol I say go for it, anyways. Chalk it up to experience. Ring rust is a bitch, so get all the time in you can before it goes on your record.

That sounds pretty interesting, I would go for that if I were a couple of years older.

Albert, I'm going to PM you next time I'm coming out to that area. (We do business with Madison Kipp, which is right in town, iirc.)
Wednesdays? Do they take walk-ons?

albert who is your grappling instructor? poidog and I train at the Monkey Bar, we have alot of guys who fight in the submission grappling at the fight nights. Next time Crimson comes up maybe we can have a mini throw down or something.
Is Wayne Brady gonna have to choke a bitch?

You train at a place called the Monky Bar and you say that with pride......
I hope you don't grapple in the nude too.

Not yet, but that would count as no gi training, so why not. And it beats training at a school with some unpronouncable asian name any day. There is actually a story behind the name, but I am not interested enough to tell ya.

If you think going into a ring and getting beat up is going to increase your ability as a fighter then go for it.
If you are ready to enter a competition then just do it, nothing we can say can stop you. Personally you sound like you are doubting yourself and you will probably be beat.
Also, to say you can go 3 1 minute rounds and you don't have to worry about your cardio then think again. I doubt you can go for 3 minutes and throw as much as you like while someone is opposing you.
I'll make one when I can find one I like.
