Shuai Chiao Kungfu?

I was looking at the websites of some local martial arts schools in my area when I came across one that teaches Shuai Chiao Kungfu. The school says it is "Chinese grappling". I never heard of that before. Are any of you familiar with it? Is it a legit style? I'm not planning on going there, though. I'll stick with my MMA school. :)

Shuai Chiao is a legit style and a pretty good one. It has some similar to Judo. Does have some good techniques in it. I don't think is the oldest MA, though.

There's a Shuai Jiao instructor who posts on Emptyflower.com a lot. Lot's of fighting experience. John Wang. Especially about a week ago we had a lot of threads about Shuai Jiao. Very little, if any ground work. Emphasis on throws that injure. The most distinguishing feature it seems to have from Judo is the emphasis on using strikes to set up throws.

There were a couple guys earlier this century who did did Gracie style challenges in China and beat everybody else up.

Asia is it anything like Kuai Jiao?

If you looking for a Chinese grappling style, from what little I know of Kuai Jiao, it looks pretty good. Kuai Jiao does have quite a bit of ground work and like Asia said relying on throws a lot to destroy your attacker.

I'm not an expert on the two. I just seen and done some Shuai Jiao.

I've been told that Kuai Jiao is a modified version of Shuai Jiao that is used in San Shou. So the techniques should be similar.

Kuai Jiao is one of the original names for Shui Jiao. Matt Furey has a lot of information on this and I know how much you guys love him.
