Alright, it's obvious that size DOES indeed matter in a fight. All things being equal, the bigger man wins.
How much do you think size really matters? We all have BASICALLY the same vital spots and anatomy. Now the only things that seperates fighters are skill, conditioning, reach and perhaps build. Maybe height as well?
better comparison that I jacked from the kyokushin boards(man are those guys prissy fucks...)
Who would win in a fight, Bruce Lee or Tank Abbot?

Bruce Lee, simply because I believe that he has a greater knowledge of fighting than Tank Abbot.
But technique can only take you so far, after that you have to rely on your conditioning and on those damn haymakers.
Remember the time in the 6th grade where you got your ass-kicked by that 80-pound short-kid? Got BJJ?

"How much does size matter? " A lot.
But Skill can be the decider: In the earlier UFCs for example, more skilled oppnents would often beat larger, less skillk oppnenets.
I would say it was 80% conditioning and weight, 20% skill: the skill i soften the decider.
Tank Abbot however, because he is a "street"/sloppy boxer and wrestler would beat Bruce Lee with no or little problem.
"Training = pain." - I said that.

In a sword fight, despite strength disadvantages it's often easier for a smaller person to be quicker and get underneath a larger opponent's targetting and cut through him.

If you had the choice between being average size and highly skilled or large and poorly skilled I would recommend you go with being average sized.

Bruce Lee, if he keeps circling and picking his shots like Rizzo did and wait till Tank is gassed to explode.
Size matters but conditioning matters more.

Size matters alot, in stiking and grappling. If sill is the same the bigger guy wins and often the bigger guy wins anyway.

so if your 5'3" 150 pounds give up? Lol you guy are screwed up I think little guys got more to prove so they make the best fighter's. Ever seen them short guys who walk around like the chicken hawk? Yeah don't mess with them.
