Judo throws in Pride/UFC?

Planning to do Judo at a university club.

Has anyone seen any Judo throws in Pride or UFC? What were the names the Judo throws pulled off? What happen to the guy who was thrown?

I have another question. What style does Carlos Newton do? And Please don't tell me DBZ JJ.

Yes i've seen JUDO throws working at UFC without the GI also. Bryan Johnston Used No-Gi JUDO throws, also if im not mistaken Don-Frye used some in his early fights. Anyways many Takedowns are used in the UFC Osoto-Gari, Uchimata etc.

Carlos Newton is training in BJJ aka GJJ he is a great Grappler, but it seems he has training in a stricking system as well...I have seen him throw some mean Kicks and Punches.

They can be used, but you're in danger of giving your back and more whe you land. But they can be used no gi definitely.

Although Newton may train in BJJ now he is actually traditionally taught Japanese Jujitsu player. Yes many a throw from judo has been done including 3 tomei nage (sp)
