    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    If you land on top.....

Lets assume you're in a fight and you land within your opponents guard- which do you prefer?

1: Stand back to my feet and kick him while he down- I dont like to fight on the ground

2: G&P the **** out of him from the guard

3: Look for a pass to a superior position where I can finish the fight with a sub

4: Look for a pass to a superior position where I can G&P better

    5: Look for footlocks

Also, state whether you're primarily a grappler or a striker.

Im primarily a grappler, and I find myself looking for a pass and hopefully gaining the mount where I can finish the fight with a submission.

We talking a street fight here? Give me a scenario. One on one? One on one but he has friends who are watching? Location? Cops coming?

Edit: Well, since there has been no reply here is my quick ten second take on this.

    1. Good way to do it. Kick the **** out of his legs or his torso/head etc. When he tries to stand up just pound on him and kick him some more. This leaves you an out and will help if someone jumps in.

    2. Again, good idea in a street fight. Just beat the **** out of him until you can pass. I doubt he'll have a guard to begin with so it should be easy. Once passed, read below.

    3. Pass yes, sub maybe not. What kinda sub are we talking here and what are we hoping to accomplish? He taps and fight is over... nope.
We put him to sleep... Yes.
We armbar him... can be dangerous in a street fight.

    4. Good option... G&P in the guard, pass the guard, G&P from better position and then go for choke when the bitch turns his back.

    5. Hell no... asking for trouble.

I'm a grapplestriker who knows when to grapple and when to strike.

Get the hell out of his guard, if you can.

Take two examples- one is a common street fight-

Lets say the other is a "challenge" match or MMA match in which you're assuming your opponent is of respectable skill.

    All of the above.
Depends on my mood, the opponent, the enviroment, the REASON for the fight.
Too many variables to pick just one.
