    Hey kunckleheads,

In case anyone cares, here's a listing of what's coming up (on TV) starting this weekend.

    ************************************************** *******************
Ultimate 10 Martial Arts (60 min.)
An examination of martial arts includes: Shaolin kung fu, karate, muay thai, ninjutsu, judo kai, aikido, tae kwon do, krav maga, kali, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Sunday, Feb 9th @10:00PM (also on Monday, Feb 10 @1:00AM)
Showing on TLC (The Learning Channel)
    ************************************************** ********************

    Profiles: Bruce Lee (60 min.)
An inside look into the life and times of martial-arts master and movie star Bruce Lee (1940-73), who starred in "Enter the Dragon" and TV's "Green Hornet."

    Friday, Feb 14th @6:00AM
    Showing on BRAVO
    ************************************************** ********************

Jackie Chan's First Strike (120 min.)
The master of martial-arts farce performs his own stunts in this dazzling 1996 action movie. Chan plays a Hong Kong detective who becomes embroiled in the search for a stolen nuclear
warhead when he's sent to the Ukraine. Although slow to start, the pace picks up with a wild snowboard chase, then shifts into high gear when Chan fends off stick-wielding gangsters using a ladder. Other highlights include a death-defying fall from a helicopter and an underwater battle in a shark tank.

    Saturday, Feb 15th @ 3:00PM
Showing on TNT (Turner Network Television)
    ************************************************** ********************

Rumble in the Bronx (120 min.)
After unsuccessfully trying to cross over to US audiences in the '80's with such forgettable fare as "The Big Brawl" and "The Cannonball Run," Asian action superstar Jackie Chan finally scored an American hit with this 1994 martial-arts opus. Chan plays a Hong Kong cop who comes to New York to attend his uncle's wedding. Naturally, he ends up rumbling with some local hoods. While the film is not one of Chan's best (and its purported Bronx setting includes
some hilarious shots of mountains and bays, courtesy of its actual Vancouver locations), it offers ample displays of the star's patented combination of death-defying stunts and gags.

    Saturday, Feb 15th @5:00PM
Showing on TNT (Turner Network Television)
    ************************************************** ********************

    Bruce Lee: A Warrior's Journey (120 min.)
Long-missing footage, home movies and interviews present a portrait of the legendary
    martial-arts star.

    Monday, Feb 17th @8:15AM
Showing on AMC (American Movie Classics)
    ************************************************** ********************

    Bloodsport (120 min.)

deadly martial-arts contest. Forest Whitaker, Roy Chiao, Philip Chan, and Bolo Yeung.

    Monday, Feb 17th @ 7:00PM
Showing on TNN (The National Network)
    ************************************************** ********************

    Enter The Dragon (120 min.)
Martial-arts star Bruce Lee played his last complete role in this tale of vengeance at an island
fortress. John Saxon, Jim Kelly, Shih Kien, Angela Mao Ying, Betty Chung, and Bolo Yeung.

    Friday, Feb 21st @1:30AM
Showing on TNT (Turner Network Television)
    ************************************************** ********************

Those are wrestling shorts...not that that that makes it look any less wierd. And the skinny comedian is trying to tackle Rickson Gracie. But he ends up getting tossed.

I'd LOVE to know how the producers pulled where on the top ten each martial went, out of their ass...

(Talking about the ultimate 10 martial arts)

What they don't show is that immediately after the underwear clad Japanese guys finished bowing to Rickson, he was tackled from behind by Yoshida and subbed in less than 10 seconds.
