Does this supposedly muslim silat system looks a great deal like Pekiti Tirsia and Sayoc Kali to you?

It does to me. Have a look for yourself:

There's some real nice material there, but no way can it have been handed down all the way from thr Prophet Muhammad. It looks more like they ripped off Leo Gaje or Chris Sayoc (or both) and slapped some Arabic labels on it. :tongue2:

It does look like some similar stuff I've seen in both PTK and Sayoc(I've done both). I wouldn't go so far to say that Silat Mubai is ripped off from either system, though, as I have no first hand knowledge of it, and even if I did I still doubt I would be qualified to judge. Straight up I liked what I saw and enjoyed the music in the trailers too. If there was seminar around here or some place that taught it, I'd check it out for sure. IMO, you can never get enough Silat or Kali.

As mentioned, the site doesn't work currently...

It could be ass, but then again obviously Kali and Silat styles would have some resemblance to each other.

& muslims, and martial arts have both been around Indonesia/Philippines for ages...

I CAN say for a fact, though, that it wasn't founded by Prophet Muhammed... For ****'s sake...

Though, isn't Sayoc Kali a style founded in the US? So I'm not sure who's copying who.
