Am I the only one here who's seen Mirko's MMA (Pride) fights? He launches absolutely no offence from the ground, just sprawls and takes the guard if he has to, and beats fighters with tons more grappling experience (drew with Silva, beat Sak).

And that charge-in-head-down thing? See the cut his knee opened on Fujita's head when Fujita shot?

Yes, grappling usually wins an MMA fight, blablabla. But it's automatic? Don't think so.

Just got to show that kids these days have no appreciation of the classics.

Hokuto no Ken was on of the gorest most violenc series that came out in the 80's it set a new standard in anime gore.

But I take you haven't seen the full series, probably just the movie and the GODAWFUL live action crap with Gary Daniels!!!

I have seen quite a bit of the exploding heads. I know very well that Northstar set the bar for gore in anime.
