Girls' grappling gear?

I usually just use my gi pants and a tshirt when I'm doing no-gi grappling, why isn't that an option?

How about a cheap pair of elastic-waistband karate gi pants? Might wear out real fast, but I can't see a problem if you have an elastic waistband with a drawstring.

WR, that's what I use, and they've already lasted a solid 2 years of steady use, they cost about $30.

So far my cheap elastic-waistband with drawstring gi pants lasted almost a half a year in grappling. Seems okay.

Also good in that if the strings come loose the pants don't come down by themselves.

I effing HATE malls this time of year. I kinda didn't noticed exactly what entrance I went in today, and ended up jogging around the giant mall 2.5 times or so, until I happenned to finally be in the right range for my panic button to work when I pushed it, so I could hear my sweet little black beastie. I was that >< close to considering onstar. :angel10:

Anywho. I got a shortsleeved wannabe body armor shirt, which I plan to also wear under my gi, as my shoulders are still all red from my last judo class, with only a tanktop underneat. Also got a pair of cheap spandex shorts, but next time I get to somewhere that has girls' boardies (completely out of season, nowhere at the mall had them) I'm going to pick up a pair. Mebbe I'll see how cheap I can find a pair of gi pants. Dunno, cross that bridge after I finish the rest of my Christmas shopping.

Someone said 30 dollars for a cheap karate gi. That sounds about right. That's what I got my cheap gi with elastic for in New York City.

Also, you may be able to order a cheap gi with an elastic waistband from an online store even more cheaply, although since it's not a physical store you might not be able to tell if it fits nicely or not.
