Style: Kyokushin Karate
I sent this to liuzg150181 via yousendit so I thought I might as well share it with all you guys. Here's a highlight I found of Kyokushin Karate Kancho Shokei Matsui:
The last bit of footage is of the Kancho Matsui doing the 100-man kumite. Well, I think the flaws of Kyokushin have already been discussed on the board - no face punches, lack of thows, lack of groundwork, etc. So, this is just for your viewing pleasure.

His politics seem to suck, but he was good. Thanks.

Wow he was awesome... Crocop would still high kick his head off.
Why does kyokushin have no punches to the head??!! These guys would be extra badass if they trained with everything.

Ok for the umpteenth time.
KYOKUSHIN DOES PRACTICE PUNCHING TO THE HEAD!!!!! DID YOU MISS THE CLIPS SHOWING OYAMA SPARRING AND *gasp* PUNCHING TO THE HEAD!!!
In COMPETITION (read slowly) when fighting bareknuckle they don't allow it for safety reasons. If they were gloves, and some Kyokushin comps do, then head shots are allowed. The rules of the Competition doesn't represent the total scope of the art.
There are throws and fighting form the ground in Kyokushin. Plus many KK guys have trained in Judo or other grappling arts. Look a Joko Ninyomina's SABAKI METHOD he goes over ground grappling, I like the sweep to triangle choke, he was a Judo BB before doing KK. Oyama also studied Judo and Jujutsu but th strong point of KK is striking so thats what it focuses on.

You can't practice Judo just to win a Judo Match! You practice so that no matter what happens, you can win using Judo!
The key to fighting two men at once is to be much tougher than both of them.
