Would you rather get hit by 100 flies or a car ??
This part here:
" they hit hard, we hit fast "
IF they hit hard, they are hitting FAST AND with WEIGHT behind it, simple physics.
If all you are doing is hitting "fast", then what damage are you doing?
When ever I haer some say that or read that, I wince.

Look guys I've already PM'ed Timbo about Eagle Claw. I myself studied Southern Eagle Claw for 6 years. Most of the stuff is cool for asthetics but for practicality (sp) it's poop. (**** for the jackassess). Too much theory not enough application. Eagle Claw was originally just a small part of a bigger picture in my original system of Kung-fu....
So to put all things to rest, if you want to jump around and look cool take Eagle Claw. If you want something practical go do something else.

its not a weak hit. weaker than others, yes. but not weak. and to someone with little strength, adding speed will add force to the hit. i've seen someone using our punch properly exert plenty of force.
i brought up where i see weak points only to explain what i'm looking for and why i don't feel i've found it. im not qualified at all to be debating the strengths and weaknesses of my school or my style, i've put in nowhere near enough time to be a public front for this, and i may be mistaken when i speak, so my speaking on my style needs to stop. i just want reccomendations on styles to study, a place at which to study, and personal experiences pertaining to eagle claw specifically, as it seems to have everything for which i'm looking.

If this has been adressed earlier, I apologize, but where are you looking to study? I've heard that Lily Lau has good eagle claw.

where as in which school, or where as in what city? i don't have anything particular in mind on either account. i was thinking eagle claw sounded like the stuff but omega bursteded my bubble. i still haven't totally given up hope, but i'm going to spend more time looking in other directions.

Dude, go and visit as many schools as you can. If you're serious about finding a good one that's probably the best way to do it.

Are you moving to find a good MA school, or for other reasons as well?
