yeah, the NDs at my school really love the fasting thing. and the detox diets...

if it really means that much to you, do it. if not, exercise, eat clean for a few weeks, drink plenty of water, get plenty of rest, and if you really want, take some milk thistle.

i really prefer the porter detox. just have a pint of porter everynight. the vitamins and minerals really help clean your system. not to mention reduce stress. enjoy which ever route you take. and be prepared to burn off some muscle if you fast.

My dad's fasted for 3 consecutive days a few times now. He says doctors say you should do it every now and then to clean your system. I dunno if I believe him, but he didn't drop dead, so I guess any negative effects are temporary, so you should try it. :)

ND's are idiots. They wouldn't know a control group if one bit them in the ass.

of course they wouldn't, but you would because you have so much more education. and to think the NIH is wasting all that grant money that they give to my school to do research because our ND researchers don't know what a control group is. its a damn shame.
