they were trained ... to some degree anyways ...
keeping guard while getting pounded isnt exactly the easiest thing to do ...totoro-san ... world sushi munching champion ...

Trained in grappling they may have been but trained in standup I don't think so. I saw no technique in their striking. Just wild swings to the head. sometimes i spar with striking on the ground (one guy on top with gloves on, either in the guard or with mount, guy on bottom no gloves and just trying to get a submission), and after a little practice you should be able to do better than that chap did. gloves do make it easier to grab arms though.

If I am ever in a fight, where people are standing around saying “fuck him up dog” or “ya-yaaaaa.” Or whatever the crap those red neck ****-heads were doing I would take some time to reevaluate my life decisions. That is not what martial arts are about.
