Incidentally, I saw a good knee compression that might work well with someone else who goes up one one knee. It involves a sort of Butterfly Guard, where you get behind that knee with the closest foot and then pull [that foot] in with your arms. You then hold the same leg in in place by raising your far knee toward your head and apply pressure until their knee assplodes.
