    Hell yeah! Hell no!
I figured out what I was trying to say earlier when I went to ne waza class last night. I asked the guy that I roll with what he normally does to be able to jump to guard from knees, and he brings one knee up and sits on his butt. That's what I was thinking of earlier by forming a triangle with your legs because you can get off your butt and onto the ball of your foot with a knee sticking out. It works pretty good.

Incidentally, I saw a good knee compression that might work well with someone else who goes up one one knee. It involves a sort of Butterfly Guard, where you get behind that knee with the closest foot and then pull [that foot] in with your arms. You then hold the same leg in in place by raising your far knee toward your head and apply pressure until their knee assplodes.

If you are on your knees, the ONLY thing you better be pulling is the guard !

That's my specialty. Are you saying that there's something wrong with that?!

Nice. This is my new favorite thread, although I didn't have an old one.

Some would say fantastic. Others, fantastical. Still others would call it complete and utter bullshit. Still yes, as far as you know, that story is true. Please never tell your teacher.
