Well, I checked out the website and there seems to be some benefits to training here. Check out this pic I found... hell, if this dummy can land chicks using this art I can too!

Kuntao Jiu-Jitsu was started in Indonesia but was brought to this country by an immigrant from the Philippines, Professor Florendo Visitacion, affectionately known as Professor “Vee,” who toned down the once illegal, lethal, martial art and began teaching it to Americans. Since his death several years ago, Visitacion’s only heirs are Professor-Soke Richard Petronelli and “Soke-Dai” (which means designated heir) Mark Bochner.
Nothing like coming right out and saying that what you're teaching is watered-down crap!!Last edited by Honey Badger; 11/20/2004 9:02pm at .

WTF?! Is this some kind of catch-phrase? The Shao-Choy-Hung school in that other thread said EXACTLY the same thing, pretty much verbatim. They can't be serious... oh the humanity!how to properly defend themselves with little to no effort.
They do get points for a semi-competently designed webpage and a unique domain name. Important for credibility. Well, what little they DO have.Last edited by bodar; 11/20/2004 8:11pm at .

Professor V actually has a quite a good reputation.
Well, he did. Passed a few back i believe.
as far as the watering down goes...
how many of you train in juDO, or aikiDO, or tiekwanDO?
or any other sport for that matter?
all of those arts are 'watered down'.
it is so EVERYBODY can play.
....
you guys should go and check em out and see if they suck.

Heh. Why am I not surprised?Like others involved in the arts Marc does not exhibit what he knows. He pursues his study for self-satisfaction and not to fight. One of the basic rules in his martial arts education is to learn to end a fight in three second by taking control over the situation. In fact, Marc has never been in a fight.
Convincing disabled people that they can kick ass just because they have a belt is money-grubbing of the lowest kind.
And does this guy have any students that AREN'T little kids? Is there something we should know about this dude?
