Anyone know how/where to get the right chain link to build a NHB cage? You can't just throw fencing material up there, someone will get cut up pretty bad on it.
What are the options?

You might be able to get the fencing specially made, at a fencing manufacturer. I suppose you could tie together regular fencing as well. You just have to make good connections. And if you are really concerned about it, you could duct tape at the junctions.

I'm only concerned about making sure the chain won't cut a fighter that's up against it. We can work out the rest of the details.
I'll look for coated chain link. Thanks.

What are you going to do? Put one in your backyard? That would be hardcore!

Kioto BJJ had a nice cage. I'm not sure where they got the materials to build it though. I think Mike D'Angelo built it and he's at Panza's now. I havent talked to him in a while but I'll try and give him a call on Monday and see if he can tell me where he got the stuff from.

We're actually going to use it for a pro MMA event coming up.
I'd love to have one in my backyard, but it's against the homeowner's association rules.

I dont know if that cage was rated for pro use or anything, it was just for training in the academy so you probably wont be able to use it.

Those fucking homeowners associations. They always have some prick in a polo shirt bugging everyone about the pink flamingos they put in their front yard.
