    With yoga I can now do the front and side splits. :D If you have any nagging pains the yoga will help greatly. My lower back and knees feel 100 times better than they use to. Highly recommended and it helps with your breath control.

    Sweet what yoga tapes would you reccomend? ALso how often do you do it? Like once a day?

    Well one of the women from class has been doing yoga for years and is trying to become an instructor. She offers to teach us for free so I'd never turn her down. I actually go through the whole breath control, downward dog, etc stretching only whenever she comes to class. That is usually 2-3 times a week. I do my own basic streches every morning, before any type of workout, and if I haven't been drinking I'll strech a little before bed. I can't recommend any tapes though. I'd recommend you only do deep streching 2-3 days a week and not before physical activity. Before physical activities warm up with a light session of 5-10 minutes of cardio and then strech lightly aka don't force yourself. Deep streching will slightly tear and weaken the muscle/tendon which could increase the chance of injury if you ingauge in a strainuous activity.

    This is based off my own experience and from what I've been told from ,what I feel to be, a reputable source.

    Normally, I'd say I was grappling, but I was taking down and mounting people, and JFS has kindly informed us that takedowns and being mounted are neither grappling nor anti grappling, so I'm not sure what the **** I was doing. Maybe schroedinger's sparring, where it's neither grappling nor anti-grappling until somoene observes it and collapses the waveform, and then I RNC a cat to death.----fatherdog

    Thomas Kurz is really good but the amount of stretching he recommends is quite time consuming.

    I don't think its too time consuming.
    His stretching routine to do the splits in 3 months is WAAAAYYY to time consuming, but his conditioning routine here is pretty good.

    I'm actually curious about that tape you link to.
    I just can't justify paying US$40 + huge shipping cost to Australia for a tape under 20 minutes.
