It's called Le Parkour, and contrary to what some people might expect, I think this is an amazingly cool sport. What I love most about it is the flavor of human's primate nature constantly struggling to express itself, even in the midst of statuary.
There's also a much better video floating around somewhere.Normally, I'd say I was grappling, but I was taking down and mounting people, and JFS has kindly informed us that takedowns and being mounted are neither grappling nor anti grappling, so I'm not sure what the **** I was doing. Maybe schroedinger's sparring, where it's neither grappling nor anti-grappling until somoene observes it and collapses the waveform, and then I RNC a cat to death.----fatherdog -

It is called Parkour http://www.parkour.org.uk/index.html the guy credited at the end, Chase Armitage, started it in France.
Edit: Wastrel got there first but I'm still right about Chase. Wasn't that horizontal suspension thing something that David Chan talked about? 'tree hugging' I think.Last edited by tkdan28; 11/03/2004 4:47pm at .
