    Wing Chun fighting

Finally found a video of wing chun people sparring. I think it's kinda cool how you can see the wing chun in it. One thing that bothered me a bit was that they didn't seem to register the hits, not sure why. But this is more like the sort of wing chun i studied for a few months when the dude who taught it was still here at school.

    Good intensity, bad power.

What kind of helmets are those? They looked very protective without being as big as smoe other ones I've seen.

These kids all look like beginners. And they spazz-out like ninjas. Hopefully they are just sparring to give new guys confidence.

So is this 'modified' Wing Chun? As I saw some scrappy ground and pound, and a Thai low kick (sort of) at 3:17. I mean the initial stance looked Wing Chunish, but the rest?

The rest seems to be more or less the characteristic of wing chun. Although their skill level is still much to be desire in my opinion.

PLEASE do not call that a Thai low kick! It was pathetic and unfortunately a kick I've seen in WC.

Cool, new vid I haven't seen.
Please note that the targets are well conditioned.

Estonia eh? I'd like to train there, I can say that is some good kung-fu right there.
I'd destroy all of them with my kicking ability though. :)
Handwork, intensity, elbows were good. Need more power, need MUCH better kicking.

That was so not a 'Thai kick' dude.
