I pay £20 a year to train back in cambridge and £5 a month in oxford. Most judo clubs are non profit organisations, make the most of it.

Checked out the link you posted and it looks fine. Fairly typical of a lot of clubs - classes aren't huge and have a number of long-timers and are inexpensive partially due to the fact that they use public facilities. $10 for up to 24 hours of instruction per month is a great deal - go!
