Not MY fault our president cannot read and was PLACED in power by the wealthy AGAINST the vote of the people of America.

Nor is it my fault that he is about 1 step away from starting world war 3.

OR that he cut $39 million in federal spending on libraries.

OR that he cut $700 million in public housing repairs.

OR that he wanted to permanently disban the "Reading is Fundamental" program.

OR that he cut $15 million from programs dealing with child abuse.

OR that he cut funding for the C.A.P., a foundation providing care for people without health insurance, by EIGHTY SIX fukking percent!

We can go ON and ON and ON......

You cannot get these degrees without being able to read.

    B.A., Yale University, 1968. M.B.A., Harvard Business School, 1975

    This is plain BS.

OR that he cut $39 million in federal spending on libraries.

OR that he cut $700 million in public housing repairs.
Was that a cut in the previous years budget, or the typical Democratic double speak when there is a cut in the increase of the budget.

OR that he wanted to permanently disban the "Reading is Fundamental" program.
This should be a state run and funded program. Keep the federal government out of our schools, except as a agency that sets standards. Then we can keep more of our money localy for use in the school systems.

OR that he cut $15 million from programs dealing with child abuse.

OR that he cut funding for the C.A.P., a foundation providing care for people without health insurance, by EIGHTY SIX fukking percent!
Again, was that a cut in the previous years budget, or the typical Democratic double speak when there is a cut in the increase of the budget.

I bet you did not cry one bit when, under Clinton, the welfare budget increased by 47%, even though there was nearly a 50% reduction in the welfare case load. Another of the re-inventing government schemes put forth by Clinton/Gore.

Peedee, you would prefer the largest states to run rough shod over the smaller states. The Electoral College preserves the ability for smaller states to actually have a vote in elections. Yes, Gore received more actual votes from the populace as a whole, but he did not win a majority of the states. Under your warped view, only the largests states would have any say in the elections. But, judging by the posts you have made, I can understand why you would think this way. Fortunately, we do not live in your world, and the Republic is preserved. That's correct, we are not a Democracy in the United States, we are a Democratically Elected Republic.
