    Hey Pizdoff,

Hip flexibility wasn't an issue. I think I may have been leaning back so as not to hit with full power. I really didn't want to lean in to any of my leg techniques because it was just medium sparring. Actually during the fight with Stanford I punched a little too hard and immediately said sorry (not sure in my voice picked up on it I have been viewing them with no sound so I don't get bagged at work).

Thanks for the tip I'll work on it and let you know.

What did you mean by crossing my feet?

    Kind regards,

    Raul

    jaychiu_vs_MingLoyalist.mov - Good commenting! :D
jaychiu_vs_MingLoyalist2.mov - What exactly happened there to Ming? And what are those random beeping noises? Couldn't have found another beeper timer thing? STOP THAT!
well, i'm 5'7" and 145lbs so that would make jay.... large, very large.

in the 2nd clip, i caught a body shot (hook i think) right to the solar plexus, took me a second to get my breath back... you can really feel the love coming from my corner "he's FINE... he likes it" and "get back in there!"

as far as the timer goes... that's what you get with the belt-clip sized ringside timer. hopefully the next one will be at my school where we have a proper gym timer. FYI, the initial beep is 5 seconds before the start bell (a series of beeps) then 2:30 later a "30 second warning" single beep, then at 3:00 a long set of beeps to signal the end of the round. yes it's annoying. no we had no other choice.

oh and i don't think stanford caught a shot to the nuts, i think he had to stoop down and re-adjust his shinguard a couple times, that's most likely what you saw.

Well it looked like in stanford_vs_RaulPerez2.mov you may have cross your feet when you danced around.
Good footwork, but there is always the risk of tripping over your crossed feet when moving around.

I believe he said he was 230 or so.

Was that light contact? Most of the knees looked they were pulled back.
Yeah, nobody was out to prove a point. So (speaking for myself) we werent out to slam eachother.

Good fight 5Fingas! Next time I promise not to break my ankle on the mat and give you a better match :-)
No doubt man! I hope the ankle gets better. I ended up kicking someones knee and screwed up my own ankle too.

    I not Djimbe sized unfortunately...

I'm 6 in height and I think I around that 220 to 230 mark. I haven't jumped on a scale in a while and my love of food beats my love of excercise. (As I will Tap for Food.)

Can't watch the clips at work but I'm excited to get home and check them out!

Maybe when people see how fun, ego free, and nice everyone was we'll get a bigger turn out next time.

Thanks Ming for setting it up and taping.

Is it me or do we seem very fast in the videos.... When I remember fighting it seemed slower. Or could it be that when I am fighting everything seems in slow motion? Does anyone else feel the same way?
