I went through LINE training when I first went through boot camp, then eventually became a green belt instructor in MCMAP. The MCMAP program deals primarily with the following:
Stance and mobility (modified boxing stance and movement drills)
Breakfalls and shoulder roll
Upper-body strikes (punches, hooks, uppercuts, hammer fists, eye gouges, palm strikes, and elbows)
Lower-body strikes (front kick, round kick, and knees)
Basic wrist lock and reverse wrist lock
Parrying punches and kicks while getting offcenter
Escapes from headlocks, bear hugs, and the like
Blood chokes
Armbar from guard and mount
Free grappling
Knives, bayonets, and improvised weapons (Kevlars, E-tools, clubs, etc.)
Some weapon disarms
Some defenses against if a foe grabs at your rifle and ways to take him down
Along with some other techniques, warriorship studies (The Spartans, Apaches, etc.) plus impact conditioning, sparring, and some other things. It's a step in the right direction but there still is a lot of it that needs to be fixed up in my opinion.
Yes Koto got his name changed, quit asking...
