    Hell yeah! Hell no!

What you wont (or cant) fight

I was having this discussion with someone i work with the other day (he trains in JJ) and the topic of what you wont fight came up, i dont mean like 15 stone BJJ experts, i mean objects,

i have no (theorretical)problem with any sort of knife (within reason) or even needles, but I know i physically will not be able to face someone with a straight razor-its purely psychological and irrational. My mate said he couldnt go near stanley knives, big kitchen knives fine, but not stanley knives

so, out of interest, whats your bogeyman?

I wouldn´t fight any sort of blades. Maybe something more like a thrusting thing (as a scrwedriver) I will, but cutting blades? I wouldn´t.

I would fight against blunt weapons, my bones are strong and I think i could parry at leats one attack before my arm gets broken (and then, grapple!!)

EDIT- And finally 500 posts! My own custom avatar, thanks to shironinja

Yes, I guess you could say that is my true weakness. There's just something that screams "run-the-****-away" about a guy wielding a chainsaw.

I would want a weapon to face a weapon, if you are backed up against the wall and have no choice... you have no choice. I would hate to think I would just stand there and get tagged. Though this is hypothetical for me. I hope I would fight and try to level the playing field.

To continue the guess work, it goes to types of weapons in a situation.
If you have a knife, I want a stick or sword.
If you have a sword, I want a staff or spear.
    If you have a .38 special, I want a .357 magnum.
If you have a chain saw, I want a sword and shield.

If I ever get attacked by somebody wielding a chainsaw, I will definitively use my unbeatable run-do.

    I wouldn´t fight guns neither.
