What beer thing? :D I see no mention of alcohol so far in this thread!
Think it has been discussed on this board already as well.
Basically, alcohol are my cheat nights. I don't have anything in between drinks, but then again I don't drink that much. Not too much or training the next day may not be a possibility!
Alcohol lowers your metabolism, and lowers testosterone levels.
Edit: *Sigh* Just for Blankslate
For us that want to burn more cals resting, a lowered metabolism is not optimal. And lowered testosterone means you will feel more sluggish, can't get it up as easily, less testosterone for metabolizing protein and building muscle...
Not to mention the oxidative effect alcohol has.

Awesome, thanks for putting it all together PizD. With this reference it will be a lot easier to write up a proper grocery list now.
I do have one question though: What is the nutritional value of eating *****? Remember, you are what you eat!
