    It has a lower glycemic index score, meaning the sugars in it take longer to break down and enter your blood stream where as bleached pastas tend to release their sugars rapidly during digestion.     Rapid spikes in blood sugar relate to sudden released of insuline.     Very helpful indeed, your research has been well planned and articulated. Interesting about the tuna and it's possible negatives, it was unknown to me before I had read this thread.

    Great post man. I am trying to drop some weight, in order to get some more definition for my abs. However it is so hard to lose weight with Hypothyroidism. It's like I have a nonexistant metabolism. Just need to put more muscle mass on my frame and hope that works.

    hey, do you have any info on vegan/vegetarian training diets?
    I am about 80% vegetarian, relying on fish for that extra protein, as well as whey isolate, but am working towards making the move towards a strict vegetarian, eventually vegan diet. Seriously, this really decreases recovery times, as well as energy spent digetsing. Raw food diets are especially revitalizing. I know there is at least one UFC fighter who is a strict vegan.
    Any info?
