Bullshido has made me more aware of mcdojos and other such bullshit.
Also made me aware of t3h need of alive training.

When I first visited I lurked... I wanted to be a uber deadly ninja at first I even had a few ashida kim books!!!
As I read about bullshit in martial arts and about "Alive" and "realistic" training. A little voice spoke out and said "Ninja's are t3h gh3y." Since then I quit my pursuit to be a uber deadly ninja (even though that be so bad ass) and started Mauy Thai soon BJJ if I ever get off my lazy ass and get a job."Pain is nothing more then weakness leaving the body"

Ahh, lets see, My Ninja dreams were crushed as well
I was awakened to the fact that I was/am in a McDojo (Been meaning to cancel my contract for a while now)
More respect for grappling arts, which I thought were fagboy arts, and, well, lets see...
Oh yeah, learned never to post on bullshido becuase if you can't handle the flames, as I couldn't when I was a fresh young n00b, I stil got some burn scars, and I had it nice compared to some peope.
Good site overall, don't post here as much as I wish I could, I'm still a gamefaqs kid, but that board is near dead, and I'm tryin to make the switch. My only question to you, Bullshido, si:
Can we be friends with bracelets?

I've entered new worlds, danced through fantasy filled pages of writings, learnt things about myself and the world around me. I've been filled with joy and then taken to the lowest lows. Its poured rain and then the sun has come out and filled the world with light and let the flowers bloom. New characters have amused me, enlightened me, appalled me and intrigued me. It has pushed me to push myself. To do things I wouldn't usually do and put myself in situations where I may not be comfortable but I grin and bear because of the inspiration I've taken from it.
we're talking about Oprahs book club?

You chaps and lasses have inspired me in my teaching. I take your "Kung Fu does not work and has no alive training" argument and smashed it to bits. I have incorperated our 5 Animal Kung Fu and Muay Thai, my 2 loves in fighting. I take and adapt most of my lesson plans from you guys. You say it dosen't work or can't be done or even it's not effective in live training and say BAH I'll show you. So A big thank you. I should send in my next paychek to support Bullshido...Too bad I don't get payed for teaching. You have single handedly made me a better fighter by challenging my brain and techniques and also inadvertantly help the evolution of Kempo HA! Now you all are a part of the Kempo world. Now don't you feel so, so dirty yet mystical.

^^ I must say it's really fun sparring with people who use different or unorthadox styles of fighting. Day in day out of jab-cross-hook-lowkick at SBG can get old. :)Tough is not how you act, tough is how you train.
