Light touch, pre-arranged sequences, no aliveness? That's not how ving tsun is supposed to be trained, and in fact many schools do not train like that. Why make sweeping generalizations that are obviously wrong? :)

well, if you found a VT/WT club where you train realistically, you're a lucky guy - I couldn't (and I visited quite a few...)

    Where do you live bomblaster?
"It does not matter who the master is. It does not matter what the face looks like. The masters are of the Qimen school of qigong/meditation which is related to Zen. The master wears white robes, and the predecessor master wears bright gold robes. The qimen school travels the univers and is not restricted to what paradise they live in. It has many masters" -Serious Harm

Thank you for being a closed minded ignoramus. Really, it was great.

Jut sau. Ok, see if you can follow this einstein, rotate the shoulder up about 45 degrees, and perform the same movement. Woah! It just hit him in the head / neck! Notice how I said the 'same movement'?

Sorry, I don't speak chinese. I think I got the name of the movement wrong.

Either way, you can apply any wing chun movement in any direction.

Uhhhh...not quite, you can't do a tan sau(palm-up, sinking elbow) straight up and down. Then it's no longer Wing Chun.
