Barnett V Cro-Cop

Rumor has it Josh Barnett will face Mirko Cro-Cop at an upcoming Pride pay per view. Any picks for this one? I think Josh can take Cro-Cop. He has better take downs than any of Cro-Cop's opponents aside from Randleman and we all saw how that ended. Barnett has the complete package and is hungry for a big win, Cro-Cop could be in serious trouble.

This is going to be a close one. Barnett is the better rounded fighter and could take crocop down and finish it but I don't think he's in the same league as Nog. He'sgotta avoid those strikes... one kick from cro-cop could end it all as we've seen plenty of times!

If I had to bet - I'd say cro-cop.

Barnett's takedowns aren't any better than most of the other guys CroCop has destroyed. I predict CroCop throws a liver kick that sends a five-minute shockwave through Barnett's gelatinous abdomen, followed by a ground beating after his legs go numb and he falls over crying.

If Barnett acts dumb ( and we have all seen him do that before) and tries to stand up for more then a second he is done for. If he immediately goes for the clinch and works from there he has a chance. My money is on Cro Cop by 1st rd kick to the head.

Man Barnett gets no love cept for from J-Kid. Josh might look a wee bit flabby but he's got all the tools. And really, aside from Randleman, Cro Cop has not faced anyone with really good take downs. Barnett managed to get top position on the ground against Couture as memory serves which is no easy task. Don't underestimate the Baby Faced Assassin.
