Teen kills neighbor with sword
Police: Teen uses sword to kill neighbor
Argument erupts while two drinking
HOUSTON, Texas (AP) -- Police said a teenager used a 2-foot-sword to kill his neighbor during an argument, then struck the man's elderly mother before her relatives could seize the weapon.
Jose Alberto Martinez, 18, was charged with murder and aggravated assault in the death of Gabriel Flores, 42.
He was jailed Friday in lieu of $40,000 bail, investigators said.
Sheriffs Sgt. James Parker said Martinez brought the sword from his home at a trailer park to show it to Flores.
The two were drinking together when the argument started, and Martinez allegedly stabbed Flores several times before striking Flores' mother, Parker said.
The woman's name was not released. She was hospitalized in good condition Thursday, officials said.

Sad... and shameful to strike an elderly woman.
This country needs sword control legislation badly.

Swords , drinking, and old ladies don't mix."You know what I like about you, William? You like guns AND meditation."

My teacher summed it up best:
"I used to work at the (insert name here). It was 'the bar' to be at here in (insert my hometown). I worked there for about 5 years as a bartender before I just had to quit, you teenagers today... ... ... you dont know how to drink! It's like you have a couple of beers and all of a sudden you need to fight."
I thought that seemed about right. Still a shame though. Oh well, that guy is going to meet Tank in prison (and possibly his big brother 'Dozer'). He's most likely going to suffer much more then the stab-ee did.
