    The bench press is the worst of all the compound exercise movements. If at all possible never use it.

    I don't know what these stats are in pounds but I weigh 67kg and do 4 sets of 6 reps at 75kg.

    Edit: Scratch that, up to 80kg.

    I don't believe you unless you can convince me. Sounds kinda farfetched. :-P

    As of 2 months ago, 180 @ 165. Now, though with being laid up and crap, I'm probably closer to 175-180 and might be able to bench 150.

    When I last seriously lifted I benched 220lbs twice at a weight of 135lbs (1.6x bodyweight). That was after about 4 months of lifting with weight gainers and creatine. I got injured sparring and have never gotten back into it. F-en weight gainers didn't help though. I get strong but never heavier. WTF???

    What were you taking, how much and how many calories were you taking in?

    Also what sort of rep scheme were you using?

    This is the first time I have ever heard somebody complain about having a great strength to weight ratio.
