    whaddya bench?

    EVERYONE POST YOUR STATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can bench two 45lb plates and a 10lb plate on both sides of an olympic bar. I'm going to be on the safe side and say I have a 35lb bar so that's 235 I weigh 200-205 depending on what time it is in the day.

My max bench is right at 2 bills, which is also my current body weight. I voted "half to all body" because I do sets of 165-185 which si less than my weight. When I started lifting seriously a little more than a year ago, I could barely do 135 and weighed 10 pounds more than I do now.

My bench is a terrible 85% bodyweight because I can't find a decent spotter/trinaing partner. That's 85% for 6 reps; 1RM would probably exceed bodyweight.

I weigh 210 and do reps of 8-10 (depending on how I feel) with 250. I don't do 1RM anymore due to old age. I said 1 to 1.5 X's bodyweight.

Aren't olympic bars always 45 pounds?

Last low rep bench 3 clean reps at 295. weigh ~205 so I guess a one rep would easily be in the 1.5-2.0 range since a three rep is almost there.
Edit: The next time I got 295*5. That was a compliant spotter so I won't count that.

Edit: Funny, this actually has a normal distribution.

    that's what I thought too, but when I originally bought my weights it was supposed to be 300lbs and i had 2-45s, 2-35s, 2-25s, 4-10s, 2-5s, and 2-2.5s. Maybe I got 2 extra 10s and 2 less 5s.

Really though, I just assumed I had a 35lb bar...

Most I've ever gotten up is listed in my training blog in the BBC, but I answered 1.5ish.

Where is everyone that chimed in about their 160 IQs?
I will freely admit that I have never been able to bench my own weight. I would probably blow out an o-ring at 80%.
