I got a chance to watch Megumi Fuji roll up close and personal. She's awesome! I'd go and check this event out if I was close by.

Should be a good fight between her and Montoya.

We're front rowing it. I figure that it will either get her more excited about our BJJ class, as I discussed with you elsewhere, or it will scare the **** out of her. The funny thing is, the 7th is our anniversary but it is a Sunday. We're celebrating on that Saturday night instead. Who else gets to celebrate their anniversary by watching a bunch of women kick the **** out of each other? lucky me.

That is true. Damn she was fast! And ripped! Her shoulders aren't as broad as my wifes but her back was just as ripped. The biggest difference is her front was just as ripped. Talk about abs of steel. I was just enjoying the fight so I wasn't trying to keep track of scoring. It had to be very close. However, the grappling tournament the very next day was a different story. Before it started we were chatting it up with one of the fighters, she wasn't grappling because during her fight, the night before, this chunky bulldozer stomped her feet for 2 rounds. Her right foot was swollen pretty bad. She was pretty cool and most on this site would have considered her hot. Anyway, one of the fighters walked up to us and asked her to take a pictureof her match. She said that she wanted a picture but take it quick because she had to go against Fuji and she didn't think she would last long. Not only did she last long, not only did she win, not only did Fuji submit, but we actually heard something CRACK right before she did. Montoya, on the other hand, plowed through girl after girl. The final was Montoya against Marie Colangelo. Montoya submited her to win the whole thing. Makes me think that Montoya would have won the night before if there was no striking, but I guess we'll never know.

Sorry I don't have other names or pics. I had my camera but it sucks and after trying to take pics during the first 2 fights I realized I was missing **** so I put the thing away. I might come back and detail some of the fights when I have time but I don't remember all of their names.
