One point : Its not the art, its the fighter. I've seen some of the clips here and I was just stunned.
Another point : That guy wasn't a Muay Thai fighter. If ever he was, he was... lame. He deserved all of the headkicks. Yeah I train MT but I don't really diss any MA, i was actually stunned by some of the kicks of the TKD but I still say... that guy aint MT.

no clue, but it seemed to me that you were questioning the existence of muay thai in korea, or was it professional muay thai. i'm not sure how to tel the difference, but those guys at least looked like they had experience and records as MT fighters.

as kungfu colin says the spinny back hook kick thingy drew a counter from the MT guy who thru a low kick to what he thought was going to be the supporting leg and got clubbed by the heel of the leg he thought was going to be on the deck...

which was a surprise for him no doubt..

9th gup? isn't that below a white belt (8th gup)? I would be pressed to see a 9th gup do an aero-step to double round house or a jumping spinning hook kick from a cut. I'm a second gup (black stripe, would be first gup if I could afford testing) and have trouble.

This is a totally bullshit clip. World's WORST MT fighter ever. No One, but NO one gets caught with that many fancy flying kicks even sparring in the dojo!!! That "MT" fighter was just standing there letting it happen. Total exhibitionist Bullshit. No Way that fight was for real. Get that TKD guy to Orange County and I'll fight him for free and beat his ass.

The only thing missing from this real fight vid was the MT guy wearing a "Howard the Duck" suit
