I think it was at the end of the first round or the begining of the second. I don't know for sure because I can't view the fight on this computer. did you feel like you used your wing chun in the fight? If so, how?
"It does not matter who the master is. It does not matter what the face looks like. The masters are of the Qimen school of qigong/meditation which is related to Zen. The master wears white robes, and the predecessor master wears bright gold robes. The qimen school travels the univers and is not restricted to what paradise they live in. It has many masters" -Serious Harm -

Grond,
Conceptually, I had decided not to trade strikes
I think this is at the heart of WC and BJJ
I had 2 fingers dislocated 4 weeks before the fight
I didn't train at all for the whole month leading up to the fight
I had heard good things about team pound's kickboxing
so my strategy was, close the gap with a push kick and shuffle step (in a WC way), apply forward pressure and see what happens
As it happened, my opponent didn't want to trade punches either
he did get a good take down off a kick catch (that I reversed while falling)
but mostly he would just run in after a kick
I tried some chain palms in the second round after a kick but he ran in
In summary the way I kicked and shuffled in (pushkick not withstanding) and the concept of not trading punches were both IMO WC applied
One Love and Respect Grond!
