    Mifune Judo DVD

    http://www.budovideos.com/shop/custo...58&cat=&page=1

I have had this dvd for about a month, it is regin 2, so I couldn't play it at home, until my brother-in-law ( may buddha granted him many blessings) copied it for me :)

    SWEEEEETTT !!!!!!!!!

Seeing Mifune in action is amazing, the randori at the end, where he goes through 4 different BB, including this big japanese, is worth the whole dvd !!
No one even comes close to throwing him.
    And they do try.

No grappling, even though, as evidenced in his book " The canon of Judo", his grappling and counter-grappling is way above excellent.

    Highly recommended.

Yes, it is in japanese, but, you don't need to understand what is being said ( this is not an instructional dvd), just admire judo at its highest level.

Kyuzo Mifune was the man in judo, legit 10th dan and an innovator of many judo techniques.
His Sumi Otoshi was incredible to see.
At under 5 feet 4 inches and under 120lbs, he was NEVER beaten or thrown.
He may well have been the embodiment of all the Kano wanted judo to be.
Almost flawless technique, he NEVER muscled or powered a technique.

The dvd shows him doing the basic throws of judo, plus a randori session with 4 different BB.

If you check www.budovideos.com, you can find tons of judo dvd's, you can get them there or use it as a reference.

    They even have kimura videos...

    No Maeda ones though...

    Hello Everyone,

Yes, the Mifune Judo video is awesome! I have had it for several years and often show it to my students when we are working on various throws etc. I particularly like the section were Mr. Mifune counters all the throws being attempted on him!!!! If you don't own this video you are definitely missing out!!

Train Hard it is the Way!
