possible fight in december

well it looks like my coach might be able to line me up a fight in december. of course, with it being so far away, the details aren't worked out yet. It will probably be amateur kickboxing rules, i.e. no elbows and no knees to the face, which is a mixed bag really- I do a lot of training with elbows, but then again I dont want to be uglified with a big scar on my pretty nose. The biggest factor is whether he can find someone around my size and experience level to fight- I am not a big guy (5'10, 145 pounds) so it could be hard to find someone in my weight (kickboxing isnt very big in NZ despite Mark Hunt and Ray Sefo- I hate NZ media) which might even mean I'll end up fighting one of my training partners, or it might not go ahead at all. if it does, ill make sure it gets put on video (so long as I don't get my ass beat down too bad ;))

so uh... yeah I'm just rambling now. kind of exciting. I don't know if I will be ready- this year is a big year for me schoolwise, if I fail I dont get into university so it is hard to train as much as I would like. Either way, its good to know that my coach thinks I'm at that level now.
