Okay, this is really funny because of a little disclaimer.
In this article: http://www.thearma.org/essays/knightvs.htm
A guy writes out his idea about what would happen if knights and samurai fought. Fair enough, right?
But then, at the very end of his article, he has a long disclaimer, part of which reads,
Additionally, please, do not waste our time and yours by emailing embarrassingly juvenile claims about how samurai "would have just used their Ki" or "everyone knows katanas could cut through any other swords" or that "Medieval armor was super heavy and clumsy." It should be abundantly clear that we deal here in physical reality and verifiable historical facts not fantasy derived from some video game or anime movie. Thank you.
This is hilarious because it suggests they have already gotten a lot of emails about how the samurai would have "just used their Ki".

I love the person who wrote that. If they are male, I want to bear their children.

John Clements. I've corresponded with him a few times. Should I hook you up? ;)

Sure. Is he hot?

I can't believe someone would waste their time to write an article about one of the stupidest internet questions of all time.
Posted On:9/10/2004 1:19pm
Stold, he wrote it to avoid all the internet morons that were constantly asking him that question.
JKDChic, here he is on the left. You decide.

Brilliant. This should go on the front page.

There already is a useless thread of eleven pages on the article.
And by the way, John Clements has his fans, but not much of a reputation as far as scholarly accuracy is concerned.
