Yeah, I think I read something about that too. The ones I saw were more like a pole with a lump of concrete at the end though.

They seem to like sitting in low kiba dachi/shiki dachi and whirling their wrists around, if I recall correctly.

The power stones are called chishi, they have a handle of about 24" max and a weight at one end, there are also the sashi's that are like dumbells and you do sanchin with them, and of course the "jars" ( don't remember their name) that you start up with empty then add water and finally sand and you grab them by their opening with a claw formation and you twist and turn your wrist as you walk up and dome the floor in a horse stance or sanchin stance.

My club was one that beta tested the club bell and we all like it. Yes, sledge hammers work.

Sonnon has raked in some major bank over the years and's living large (he charges more than the freaking GRACIES for his martial art seminars), but he's not a good buinsessman. He gives away all of his exercises for free at www.circularstrengthmag.com. i bought a sledgehammer and just follow the programs and use the videos there. I cant use the sledge foreverything because all of the weights on the end and it doesnt work well for staying in the hand since it flies out during many of the movements but i can do the basics.
