Dude, Omega you are the fucking man.
I would be honored to train with you any day of the week.
If it really is something you must do, then do it. That will take more
guts than stepping in the ring.
Anychance you can explain it to your little one or not take her to the fight?
And that's when I figured out that tears couldn't make somebody who was dead alive again. There's another thing to learn about tears, they can't make somebody who doesn't love you any more love you again. It's the same with prayers. I wonder how much of their lives people waste crying and praying to God. If you ask me, the devil makes more sense than God does. I can at least see why people would want him around. It's good to have somebody to blame for the bad stuff they do. Maybe God's there because people get scared of all the bad stuff they do. They figure that God and the Devil are always playing this game of tug-of-war game with them. And they never know which side they're gonna wind up on. I guess that tug-of-war idea explains how sometimes, even when people try to do something good, it still turns out bad.

Man, that sounds like an exciting fight!

Here's a little story for you. I have a friend who is a professional stunt man. Most notably he plays Sinbad in the Sinba stunt show at Universal. His wife will often watch his shows and she used to bring their daughter (now about 2 1/2). The last time she did that, hwoever, their daughter was able to recognize "Daddy" up on stage. Though I doubt she had much understanding of what was going on, she became quite upset as she watched her dad get chased around, set on fire and thrown off the top of a waterfall! She kept crying, "Daddy! Daddy" It was very upsetting to the Mom.

Their solution? They're not going to take her to his shows anymore, until she's old enough to understand it's make-believe.

Listen, do what you want. You certainly have nothing to prove here! Heh, heh. You're a pro. I'm just a hobyist. But if you do want to keep fighting, maybe there's a simple solution to your problem... Don't bring your daughter to your fights.

Take that for what it's worth.

    Matt,

Good point, although I suspect his reasons are a bit more complex. It's not the first time Omega has stepped into the ring. If he wants to return, I'm sure he'll have no qualms about saying "Hey, I'm back."

One thing I DO know for sure though...

Omega is NOT a big guy. Get your perspective right, Tom! :p

Guys, my daughter wasn't at the fight. My face took a beating and she didn't recognize me when I got home. It took two days for her to warm back up to me.

....heh, hey guys can I now have the Native American Name "Bull on Angel Dust"?
