I guess I'd be more "fightingsports"
I did TKD for 6 weeks (My school didn't have a gym, but a dojang a 1 min walk away...), then a friend I made in that class took me to his jiujutsu class (sorta JJJ, but the instructor was open-minded, it was free, and he brought in redman suits so we could ground & pound, or anything else we've always wanted to do), and I started learning more about the arts, whats more effective than others, and finally saw my first UFC. Me and Kevin (JJ friend) sometimes got bored between assignments (our highschool is rather socratic) and throw eachother for fun/spooking certain people. I gotta show all the dorks who call grappling gay that MMAvsKF vid when it starts again in the fall...
Recently I found a MMA gym that has Muay Thai/BJJ, the combined gym's record in competition is 33-1, hell they even had a gracie go there in march. I love it!
<Me> John, what do you know about Zen Buddhism? <John> *smacks me*
<John> I'd have to smack you sometime...Katana, on 540 kicks: "Hang from a ceiling fan with both hands. Flail your feet out and ask people to walk into you as you hit their face."
